Kurt Vied brings decades of real-world experience in personal safety, threat mitigation, and operational leadership, built through nearly 40 years of combined military, intelligence, and law-enforcement service.

Kurt served 18 years in the United States Navy, including roles as a Hospital Corpsman and Naval Intelligence Officer. During his intelligence career, he provided analytical and operational support to Naval Special Warfare units, both in active theaters and pre-deployment environments for Iraq and Afghanistan. He later served as the lead interrogator for a Special Operations Task Force in Iraq, supporting mission-critical intelligence operations.

Kurt Vied US Navy

Following his military service, Kurt spent 21 years as a Massachusetts State Trooper, where he was selected for the Special Tactics and Operations (STOP) SWAT Team. In this role, he supported presidential and dignitary protection missions in coordination with the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. State Department, safeguarding multiple Presidents, Vice Presidents, and high-profile international dignitaries, including the Dalai Lama. Kurt and his team also played a significant role in the response to the Boston Marathon bombing.

Kurt later served with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in Boston as a Task Force Officer, where his primary focus was the detection, disruption, and prevention of terrorism-related activity.

In addition to his operational background, Kurt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Western New England University. He is also a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, combining tactical expertise with proven martial arts discipline.
